Chokoloskee

I decided to get out and fish for a couple of hours this morning. Launched at 6 and back home by 10. Bugs were not bad and there actually was a bit of a breeze which was nice for a change. I fished a small area in the bay and was kept company by a group of Manatees that stayed around the whole time. I only used top water plugs (Zara Spook Jr's) and it turned out to be a good choice. I caught some nice fish and with a couple of bigger jacks I landed at least a half dozen snook, one going over 30in. and 2 redfish. One red was around 26" and the other was oversized about 32" and weighed 12lbs. A pig of a fish that put up a nice fight!
