Russell Pass area

Launching around 6am I paddled over to an area near Russell Pass this morning. I wanted to do a little exploring and fish a couple of spots I like. I worked the outgoing and picked up a couple of nice snook along with a variety of other fish. Gag grouper, jew fish, some nice size mangrove snapper one of which I kept one for dinner. Also a couple of jacks and ladyfish. A variety of different fish today but no reds or tarpon spotted. Water was muddy on the inside but cleared working towards the gulf. Made it back around 2:30 with temps in the mid ninety's.
