GUIDED KAYAK FISHING TRIPS

2/12 Morning

I was able to get out for a couple of hours this morning launching before sunrise. Kayaking and fishing the bay or crossing any open water was out of the question with the winds today so I fished in one of the creeks off of 41. I brought the fly rod today and had fun and caught a few snooklets. I also caught one cichlid which means that some survived the cold spell that we had. The winds have now blown all the dead leaves from the frost off of the mangroves and it kind of looks different back there now. I quit fishing around mid-morning when it got to hard to find places out of the wind to fish. It was still nice to get out and fish today.
